Dome Day

June 3, 2017 – 11am to 4pm Join us on June 3 for a fun-filled, action-packed family day out. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Dakota will fly over the Dome, followed by an aerobatic display by a Tiger Moth (provided the weather isn’t atrocious). A static Gypsy Moth will be on display, along with a range of military vehicles, and there will be numerous other stalls including Stiffkey Wooden Boats, the Royal British Legion, the RAF Radar Museum and the Norwich and District Aviation Group.

Hunger pangs can be sated with a BBQ, and thirst slated with teas and coffee from a genuine NAAFI wagon. Those with stronger tastes can be satisfied at a licensed bar. The Blighty Belles will provide an appropriately 1940s atmosphere. Our raffle (tickets £1 each) will be drawn by Air Marshal Sir Christopher Harper KBE, and the first prize will be a 90 minute Boeing 737 simulator experience. And last but not least – there will be a prize for the visitor in the best 1940s dress! Entry and parking are free, but a £5 donation per visitor (to include entry into the Dome) would be appreciated.
