Saved from rack and ruin by the passion and perseverance of the local community, Langham Dome aims to provide future generations with access to the history of the airfield and its role in World War 2, as well as serve as a memorial to the bravery of those who flew from Langham – particularly those who did not return.

The Dome is managed on behalf of its owner, the North Norfolk Heritage Buildings Trust (NNHBT), by the Friends of Langham Dome (FoLD), a team of local enthusiasts who sought to retain their local heritage.

As a non-profit organisation, the Dome depends upon the work of volunteers and willing contributors who share FoLD’s vision. There are many tasks that need undertaking to keep Langham Dome going, but by getting involved, you would be joining a network of people passionate about the community and its heritage.

Whether you’d like to input into any decision making processes by joining FoLD, or volunteer in the visitors centre, we want to hear from you.
