Our Big Event for 2025!

Langham Dome will commemorate the 80th Anniversary of Victory in Europe and Victory over Japan on Sunday, 7th September 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm. The event will feature a performance by The Knightingales, and Air-Marshal Sir Dick Garwood will officially open the proceedings, accompanied to the stage by Piper Jacob Millin.

The day promises to be as fantastic as our incredible event last July, which saw over 1,000 visitors flock to the Dome! There’s also a raffle with cash prizes totaling £950, making it well worth a visit to Langham. You can relax in the shade of our stunning replica Spitfire, perched on a plinth in the Memorial Gardens, while enjoying 1940’s music all day long from Three Bits of Rhythm, along with live performances by The Knightingales and The Swingtones.

There will be Military Displays, Vintage Stalls, Reenactors, Classic Cars, delicious pizza, loaded chips, burgers, ice cream, and so much more! Entry to the event is FREE, but there is a fee for museum admission.

Children can join in the fun at our Mini Kiddies Fairground, complete with toffee apples and candy floss!

There’s plenty of free parking available in the field, with Blue Badge parking in the front car park. The museum is fully wheelchair accessible, and dogs are welcome in the Memorial Gardens. It’s going to be a fantastic, fun-filled day, and we’d love for you to join us!
